Students Highlight Palisade POW Camps

There is a new exhibit at the Museums of Western Colorado. Grand Junction High School students teamed up with the museum to highlight an important part of Mesa County History. The students chose the POW camps that were here during World War II. German prisoners of war were brought in to help with the agriculture industry while locals were overseas fighting.

This exhibit will be up until the Fall of 2020, when a new batch of students put up their own exhibit.
