Suspect remains at large for assault on Jean Lane

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Saturday evening, officers respond to the 2800 block of Jean Lane on a report of an assault at around 5:15 p.m. An adult male was stabbed and transported to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time. Officers are actively pursuing the suspect involved who, at one point, barricaded himself inside the residence. A stand-off occurred for five hours.

Just before 10 p.m, flash bombs and tear gas hit the barricaded residence as a search warrant executes but police and SWAT team members were unable to locate a suspect at the property. The suspect remains at large and the investigation remains active and ongoing at this point.
