GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX)- At about 7:22 p.m Sunday evening, the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a report of a car that had driven through a business near the intersection of Highway 50 and Santa Clara Avenue. When police arrived, they found a 19-year-old pregnant woman in a white Chevy.

The driver was northbound on Highway 50 near Santa Clara Avenue. when she crossed over opposing lanes of traffic and drove completely through the Pride Plumbing building. Within one hour, the woman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and has been medically cleared.

The company was immediately contacted and the business owner is aware. Right now, debris is being cleared by reinforcements. The one vehicle will be towed due to damage.

The driver has not been cited and the incident is under investigation.
