GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. –
Four out of the last five days temperatures have hit triple-digits. And while the heat makes life miserable for most of us, it can be particularly harmful to senior citizens.
Experts say seniors generally feel cold, and become less sensitive to the heat, and may not even recognize they are suffering symptoms of heat related problems. Checking up on loved ones should be a priority as the heatwave rolls onto the Western Slope.
