South River Road closure

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Travelers in Montrose may need to find an alternate route for their regular travels beginning on Tuesday this week.

Starting Feb. 21, a portion of South River Road between Ida Road and Jay Jay Road will be closed for culvert replacement for approximately one week.

According to Montrose city officials, the new culvert will improve the safety and longevity of the road.

South River Road will be closed between Ida Rd and Jay Jay Rd beginning Feb. 21.
