What the “Grizzly Creek Fire” looked like on Day 1

GLENWOOD CANYON, Colo. — Just hours after the Grizzly Creek Fire sparked on August 10th, an estimated 1,300 acres were burned just off of I-70 in Glenwood Canyon, with no containment of the blaze. KREX 5’s Caitrin Assaf went live from the “No Name” exit m.m. 115 with a look at how much of the canyon was taken by the fire, both during the afternoon – and at night. She will be back on scene Wednesday, August 12th with the latest, and the list of new evacuations in place for this blaze.
