Dr. Barabra Zind, a Grand Junction pediatrician who went to Gaza weeks ago to help children with chronic disease and found herself in the current war between Israel and Palestine has finally left the war-torn Gaza.

Dr. Peterson, Zind’s husband has confirmed to WesternSlopeNow.com that Zind has crossed the border into Egypt and plans to be back in Colorado by this weekend.
