GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The world’s oldest person is preparing to carry the Olympic torch in Japan.
118-year-old Kane Tanaka has survived cancer twice and lived through two global pandemics.
Her family will be pushing her in a wheelchair for her 100-meter leg.
However, Tanaka has different plans and is determined to walk a couple of steps, as she passes the torch onto the next runner.
