GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — It was another big night in high school softball as all four Grand Valley teams squared off on the diamond.

Central cruised past Palisade 11 to 5 to get their fifth straight win. And Fruita also remained on fire with a dominant 9 to 1 win over Grand Junction – good for their eighth straight victory. Remarkable.

Also tonight: Glenwood springs took down Grand Junction 3 to 1 in boy’s soccer and Grand Junction finished 2nd in the class 4a golf championships.
