The day after the Broncos Rookie Day of Service, Denver had day one of three of it's mini camp. There have been quite a few changes since the end of the 2017 season.
The Broncos added a great rookie class and they now have former Vikings quarterback Case Keenum. The expectations are pretty high for Keenum as he helped the Minnesota Vikings reach the NFC Championship game, but ended up losing to the Philadelphia Eagles.
"We've got priceless reps right now. This is priceless experience," Keenum said. "Running so many different plays with so many different looks. Against a defense that is really good. I think we are getting a lot better. I still think that these next couple of days are going to be real important for us."
One rookie that is already meeting expectations is defensive end Bradley Chubb. Chubb has already been seeing first team reps, but there are some injuries on the d-line that might play a factor into that.
Star wide receiver Demaryious Thomas tweaked his foot during 11-on-11 drills, and had to finish the practice early. Nothing serious has been reported.
There are two other mandatory mini camp practices.
