On Tuesday morning, the Crossroads Fitness Downtown location held a new fundraiser called 'A Buck A Burpee'.
They were saving money for Mesa County Partners, and every dollar that was donated turned into a burpee. Crossroads raised $1,251, where their goal was $1,000. So a group of 12 brave trainers and Crossroads exercise intructors took on 105 burpees as fast as they could.
Crossroads Fitness Downtown manager Molly Jo Johnson said that they wanted to raise money to help the at-risk youth in western Colorado with mentorship to show them respect, responsibility, and to be an effective member of the community.
