The Colorado Mesa men’s and women’s tennis team dropped their matches to MSU-Denver Thursday, 5-2 apiece from the Elliott Tennis Center.

The Mavs women’s team only gained one point from their singles matches, thanks to junior Kristen Kirby dispatching MSU-Denver’s Tabitha Porter 2-6, 6-2, 6-1. The men’s squad was swept in doubles, winning two matches in singles from Lucas Martin (6-3, 6-4) and William Agritelley (6-1, 6-1).

Both men’s and women’s teams have not won an RMAC showdown yet. The men will next head on the road next Thusday for a matchup against St. Edwards University.
