Feller's Hat Trick Leads Palisade Over Eagle Valley

Senior Sami Feller netted a hat trick Wednesday at Walker Field, leading the Palisade Bulldogs over the Eagle Valley Devils, 4-1. 

Feller scored the first goal of the game, with a pass from Christina Chatfield in the 17th minute to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. The Devils had few offensive chances in the first half, putting pressure on Eagle Valley goalkeeper Brennecke Gale. Feller added her second goal in the 30th minute and capped the hat trick with 20 minutes left in the game. 

Senior Lexi Newton also added a goal in the second half to extend the lead. 

Palisade remains undefeated in the month of April, and moves to 6-3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs will head to Steamboat Springs to play the Sailors Friday night at 6 p.m.
