Grand Junction, CO – (KREX) Central hosted Montrose in a boys and girls doubleheader. Centrals’ girls just could not keep up with Montrose. Montrose walks away with a 46-33 win. Brynn Wagner led the Warriors with 12 points. Krystyna Mazanarez chipped in 10 points. But Montrose’s Maggie Legg and Bryar Moss both had 13 points. Montrose would pull away in the second half.
The Central boys fared better as they were able to knock off Montrose 45-42.
