GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Down 20-11 heading into the bottom of the 9th, it looked as though all hope was lost for the Jackalopes.

Not so fast. Fireworks — literally — hit the final inning as the ‘Lopes score 11 runs in the 9th to win their third straight.

Joe Johnson hit a three run rocket to send home the Northern Colorado Owlz. The win improves the Lopes to 7-9 on the season. Grand Junction is now 3-0 all time when I – Big Will Levenson – cover their games.
