Reagan Todd Excelling in the Minors

The former Colorado Mesa Maverick and Grand Junction Rockie, Reagan Todd, is thriving in the minors.

On Wednesday, Todd was named the Asheville Tourists Bullpen Pitcher of the Month.

In his first ten games with the Colorado Rockies single A affiliate, Todd threw 11.2 innings, went (2-0), and struck out 17 batters. He only gave up 9 hits in that time span and had an ERA of 0.77.

After one season with the Grand Junction Rockies, Todd moved up to the Boise Hawks. He pitched in 15 games and was named a Northwest League All-Star in 2019.

Todd spent his junior year with CMU and was drafted in the 32nd round by the Colorado Rockies. In the one season with Mesa, Todd threw 80 innings, striking out 85 batter and held on to a 3.60 ERA.

He struggled a little in his first season of pro ball with GJ. In his 12 games of work he racked up a 7.20 ERA giving up 16 runs in 20 innings pitched. But, has improved dramatically and is moving up the professional ranks.
