GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Denver Broncos came back from a 28 to 7 deficit to beat the Chicago Bears in their first of the season. Russell Wilson finished the game with 223 passing yards and three touchdowns, and the Broncos’ defense played better this week with a forced fumble on Justin Fields returned for a touchdown and a game-sealing interception in the final seconds.

Head Coach Sean Payton said following the game, “There’s a lot of things we’re going to have to clean up and we’re still not doing well, but one thing I was proud of was we hung in there, they fought and we came up with enough plays at the end. We’re going to have to play a lot better if we think we want to win more games this season.”

Denver return home to Empower Field at Mile High and face the New York Jets in what should be a winnable game for the Broncos if they can clean it up.
