Denver Trio Makes Pro Bowl

Local Sports

The Pro Bowl is considered one of the least-exciting all-star games in pro sports, but if the Denver Broncos don’t snap out of this recent skid, then that’s they’ll be playing for.

Three Broncos made the cut, and it comes as no surprise all three are on the defensive side of the ball, led by Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller. Miller is one off the NFL lead with 13.5 sacks. Joining Miller are a pair of cornerbacks that make up one of the best one-two punches in the league at that position — Chris Harris, Jr. and Aqib Talib. This is Miller’s fifth Pro Bowl selection, Talib’s fourth, and the third for Harris, Jr.

Safeties TJ Ward and Darian Stewart, defensive lineman Derek Wolfe are alternates, along with center Matt Paradis and wide receivers Demaryuis Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders.
