Thursday’s matchup between the Palisade Bulldogs and the Classical Academy Titans was originally scheduled for Friday, but got moved up a day because the man at the helm, Joe Ramunno, will be inducted into the University of Wyoming’s Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday.

Ramunno was a two-time Honorable Mention All-American lineman for the Wyoming Cowboys, and was also a member of the Chicago Bears 1985 Super Bowl team.

Ramunno’s not one to brag, but he couldn’t mask his happiness when asked about the induction.

“It’s a huge honor. It’s a team thing. I’m not much on that, as far as an individual; butI had some great friends, some great family that I was able to play with and do some things up there. I had a great career. I’m indebted to Wyoming forever. I love that place, and I’ll always be a Cowboy,” said Ramunno.
