GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — 12th ranked CMU Volleyball sweep Fort Lewis, and AVCA Honorable Mention All-American Sabrina VanDeList adds 32 assists to the 3,000 she surpassed last game against Western Colorado. The Colorado Mesa Women’s Soccer team beat West Texas A&M in Durango with a final score of 2 to 1, and CMU Men’s Soccer travel to Burnaby, B.C., Canada to take on Simon Fraser.

The Fruita Monument Wildcats traveled to Aurora and battled Grandview in a Saturday Afternoon football game. The Wildcats wouldn’t get the result they wanted, losing to Grandview 42 to 21.

Colorado Mesa Football kicked off their RMAC schedule on the road at South Dakota Mines. In a close contest, the Mavs were able to hold off the Hardrockers 38 to 30 in the end.

Finally, Coach Prime and Colorado face Jay Norvell and the Colorado State Rams in the first meaningful Rocky Mountain Showdown in a long time.
