GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — After two seasons with the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, Head Football Coach Tremaine Jackson is leaving the Grand Valley to join the Valdosta State Blazers of the Gulf South Conference. Valdosta State announced the move in a press release.

Coach Jackson went 10-3 during his time with the Mavericks, including a signature win over then ranked #3 Colorado School of Mines. He is set to takeover a program that just came off an NCAA Division II Regional Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Championship Game against Ferris State.
