The Colorado Mesa baseball team is back in the RMAC Championship after taking down the UCCS Mountain Lions 6-4 Friday at Suplizio Field.

The Mavs Chris Ramirez (6-3) was strong on the mound, allowing just four runs and striking out seven in seven innings of work.

Mesa lead 3-0 in the second inning thanks to a Tyler Sandoval triple. Hunter Douglas and Dominic DeMarco both smashed home runs to extend CMU’s lead in the game.

The Mavs will now face the Colorado School of Mines in the RMAC Championship. That game begins at 1pm Saturday from Suplizio Field.
