GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — After suffering a tough loss to MSU Denver Thursday night in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Softball Tournament the Lady Mavs knew they would have to win out Friday to earn a shot at the championship on Saturday. A task that started to script for CMU as the Mavs topped the 6-seeded Fort Lewis Skyhawks 9-1 in five innings. Before the game Ally Distler, Paige Adair, and Ashley Bradford were honored by the RMAC.
