Palisade Prepped for Big 2019 Season

For the last two seasons the Palisade football team has been elite. They journeyed to back-to-back 3A state semi finals and ended 2018 with an (11-2) overall record and a perfect league slate.

2019 should be similar. They lost a couple of key seniors to Colorado Mesa University, but return first team all-state selections in quarterback Cam Tucker and guard/inside linebacker Carl Cox.

Cam Tucker led the Western Slope league with over 1,600 rushing yards and was third in passing yards with over 500.

The Bulldogs have been working on their pass-game during the offseason to take them to the next level, but will still work the grass in their triple-option run attack.

Palisade has a tough schedule kicks off the season September 6 in Durango to take on the (1-0) Demons.
