Sprinting Towards History


The Colorado Mesa track & field team will be sending its first ever relay team to the NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in late May.

Kailey Paterson, Brooklynn York, Jill Payne, and Sierra Arceneaux are the history makers and will head to Kingsville, TX as the No. 10 seed in the 4×100 relay.

The four girls broke the school record at the Azusa Pacific meet with a time of 45.84 seconds on May 10.

The outdoor championships are scheduled for May 23-25 in Kingsville, TX.
