GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Chief Meteorologist Kris Nation continues his explanation of inversions on Friday’s Nation Report. When fires spark in our Valley, we often see smoke filling the sky beyond the fire area. The far traveling smoke is called a smoke inversion.
