A short break in terms of precipitation will be with on the western slope through Friday. Saturday will bring 30-80% chance for rain showers in Grand Junction and Montrose, while the southern mountains are looking at another possible 8″ of snow. Sunday will stay rainy for the valley and northern and central mountains will also receive a hefty amount of early winter snow.
