Mostly clear, dry and slightly cooler conditions expected Friday night.

Colder afternoon temperatures are also anticipated Saturday, but nothing significantly different than the averages. The rest of this weekend and into next week looks like a continuation of the mild temperatures, mostly clear sky, dry conditions and relatively calm wind speeds. Ridge of high pressure will be the dominant weather maker through the middle of January and possibly through the end of the month as well. That would coincide with the La Nina winter pattern of mostly dry and mild. There will be an opportunity to see some unsettled weather for the middle of next week as a cut off low pressure system meanders into our neck of the woods. This will enter the Four Corners region Tuesday/Wednesday as as of now has no commitment to storminess. This will be watched for future impacts.
