GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX)— A Memorial Day ceremony honoring all veterans at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado began at 10 A.M. Monday morning.
The event included remarks by local government officials, participation by local students, and the placing of wreaths by representatives of community veterans’ organizations.
Highlights included a plane flyover and local bands performing Amazing Grace.
