Saturday afternoon many locations will already be experiencing a clearing sky. The rest of this weekend will be clearer and storm free. The bigger problem will be the cold temperatures and the colder wind chill temperatures. Starting Sunday morning the low temperatures will at or near zero degrees. The afternoon high temperatures will be almost ten degrees colder than the averages for this time of the year. Just to reiterate, early morning temperatures will be colder because of the light wind speeds. Please protect exposed skin and avoid wet clothing (while playing) outside in all this snow.

High temperatures through the middle of next week should be hampered by the inversion factor. The extended forecast calls for middle 30 degree readings, which is typical early January high temperatures. Inversions in place due to the snow coverage may prevent those readings. A cold week is expected and at least in the short term forecast there could some areas of fog.
