GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — High Country/Front Range sites have received the best snow totals with a range from 2-8″ across various elevations. The Western Slope has remained dry under a partly cloudy sky.

Regardless of the cold front, temperatures have remained fairly mild/close to the seasonal average in the upper 30s. A clearing sky is expected immediately Tuesday evening for the Grand Valley. The Uncompahgre Valley will require a little later into the evening before clearing. There will still be light snow falling across the San Juans Tuesday evening. Travel is still icy/snow packed across all High Country sites. A mostly clear day is on tap for Wednesday (between the current and the next system) with near normal lows/highs expected. Colder air will arrive Thursday with the second system/cold front, but dry conditions will remain on the Western Slope with just a light amount of snow for the High Country. The upcoming weekend is looking mostly sunny, dry and mild.
