GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Light to moderate rain showers will return Saturday for the mountain zones east of Mesa, Montrose and Delta Counties. Lightning and small hail will be possible above 8,500 feet with those afternoon mountain storms. Lower elevations/valleys should experience more sunshine and afternoon warmth. Late day storms won’t be totally eliminated from the forecast anytime soon.
