GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Cooler temperatures along with increased cloud coverage will be the going forecast for the end of this workweek.

Friday will mark the beginning of the next round in a series of High Country snow showers moving through the region through next week. Minimal valley accumulations (if any) are expected. March and April are great snow producing months so the expectation is to rise above the seasonal averages for snowpack moving forward. Partial sunshine will return Saturday and Sunday and the strongest wind speeds of those two days will be Sunday. The trade out will be cool and breezy Saturday with mild and gusty Sunday.
