GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Snow showers from Sunday night produced 1-2″ across the Grand Valley and 3-5″ across the Uncompahgre Valley.

The Western Slope will catch a temporary break Tuesday and Wednesday. As such, temperatures are expected to warm to the seasonal average near 60° for the midweek period! Wind speeds will also be on the increase Wed/Thurs (watch those AG-burns please!) because of our next storm system. A cold front will be advancing through the area late Thursday and a round of valley rain and mountain snow is expected for the end of this week. Temperatures should recover this weekend before another spring storms rolls through.
