GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — There is an incoming spring storm expected Thursday. Cloud coverage is already present, winds will continue to increase, rain chances tick up and snow will be falling in the mountain zones. This is your Thursday weather with a lingering effect into Friday morning/afternoon. A Wind Advisory is in place for the Uncompahgre Valley (Delta and Montrose) and Winter Weather Advisory is in place for the Grand Mesa for 10″-15″ of new snow. No snow is expected to accumulate for the valleys. This should remain an all rain event with a mix late Thursday/early Friday. The weekend improves with the pick of the week being Sunday!
