GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Near record (warm) morning lows and near record afternoon high temperatures remain in store through Thursday. Wind will be increasing the next few days (potential wind advisory/warnings) as there is a cold front barreling toward the Western Slope by early Friday. Snow levels look to stay below advisory/warning thresholds (Wed – Fri) and rain chances could dry out for the valleys as this system passes through. This brief pattern shift still represents a chance for rain showers down low and cooler temperatures for Friday and Saturday.
