2020 Colorado Tribute to Aviation at Montrose Regional Airport Canceled

MONTROSE, Colo. — This year’s Colorado Tribute to Aviation at Montrose Regional Airport has been canceled.

It was scheduled for September 19th and 20th, but organizers say they were not able to move forward, due to health restrictions for an event of this size.

Officials say the Tribute to Aviation, which features dozens of planes from different decades, typically attracts more than 20,000 spectators.

County leaders say the decision to cancel was not an easy one, but they’re already planning next year’s event.
