Grand Junction, Colo.- Local Pediatrician Dr. Amanda Hill who works for the Grand Valley Pediatrics wants all parents to know “the flu is a serious illness.”
Dr. Hill says she has seen a high volume of children get the flu vaccine in the past week, and encourages all children 6 months and older to get the shot.
“The flu vaccine is safe and side effects are very uncommon.”

We reached out to several Pharmacies about this subject and one pharmacist did gives us a comment saying “Due to Covid-19 it is recommended for all children to get the flu shot. To help distinguish symptoms between Covid and influenza.”
