The Grand Junction Rockies got some sweet revenge taking down the Great Falls Voyagers 5-4, who Junction lost to in the 2018 Pioneer League championship series.
Colorado Rockies 2019 12th round draft pick, Christian Koss was the hero of tonight’s game. The shortstop from UC-Irvine drove in four out of the five runs the Rockies scored. He had a 2-RBI single in the third and the seventh inning giving Junction its first and last runs of the ballgame.
Koss has played in nine games now, putting up 12 RBI’s and 12 hits, which is more than efficient.
The Rockies improve to (13-11) on the season and are still in second place in the Pioneer League south.
