GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Colorado Mesa University is adapting to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school remains open for students who live on campus, and the custodial staff is taking extra precautions to make sure residence halls and public spaces are disinfected.
CMU is on an extended spring break until March 29th, and after that, the rest of the semester will be taught online.
A representative with the university says students some students are moving home for the rest of the semester. Although, residence halls remain open, and the custodial staff is using newer devices to disinfect public areas in the residence halls.
Colleges and universities are just one of many institutions making changes to everyday life amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
