School Board Asks Voters For $179.5 Million Bond

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-

The D-51 School Board approved a bond measure for the Nov. 5, ballot. The Measure would fund a new GJHS. As well as fund security improvements to Central, Fruita Monument, and Palisade High Schools. The board voted unanimously to send the bond to voters. The board is asking for $179.5 million through an increase in property taxes within the district’s boundaries.
