WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 7, contacted Colorado Governor, Jared Polis Tuesday in an effort to ensure the safety of Colorado’s food supply, the workforce that delivers it, and the general public.
Local 7 President Kim Cordova requested Governor Polis a new executive order implemented needed changes to the first step emergency regulations enacted last week. President Cordova has stated, “The Union is actively attempting to collaborate and coordinate with Colorado’s employers to ensure an effective and safe response to this ever-changing crisis.”
