GRAND JUNCTION– One local affordable housing organization recently received nearly two million dollars from the state to help folks on the Western Slope.
Housing Resources of Western Colorado based in Grand Junction has one special program that can help residents better afford major home improvements.
This new funding will allow the organization to support 86 owner repairs on the Western Slope over the course of three years.
One local couple is extremely grateful for these improvements that have made their house more comfortable.
Housing Resources of Western Colorado has been in the area for over four decades and serves 14 counties with six special programs.
