The tree is lit, the carolers have sung, and the parade of lights has twinkled by, but the festivities have just begun. It’s the Olde Fashioned Christmas in Palisade. Olde spelled o-l-d-e, and the e might stand for excellent memories.
From a tree lighting to hot cocoa it definitely felt like Christmas. The only thing missing at tonight’s Olde Fashioned Christmas was Bing Crosby, and chestnuts roasting on an open fire.
The festivities continue Saturday December 7 at the Downtown Plaza in Palisade. There will be a gingerbread contest, chefs soup challenge, vendors, and of course the main attraction, Santa!
