GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.
The 7th Street Deli opens its doors every Monday, but this morning was different because the owners found out they were robbed.
The crook or crooks allegedly tried to pry open the main side door and were unsuccessful but managed to pry open the back door.
According to the owner, the thief or thieves proceeded to break the cash register and stole the cash.The suspect or suspects also grabbed some drinks from the cooler and chips from the display.
The owner says 7th Street Deli has been open for over half decade and this is the first time this has happened.
The owner blames the increasing population of Grand Junction for the growing amount of crime.
