Sunny conditions will make their return to the Western Slope today. Skies will begin to clear up early in the day for the lower valleys, and will start to clear up a little later for our friends in Gunnison, Aspen and Glenwood. Thanks to these clear skies our highs will shoot up another 10 degrees higher than yesterdays in the 70s, but will still be below average. Tomorrow morning’s lows will still be around 5 degrees below average, and they will gradually warm up as we move into next week. Thanks to clear skies we can expect tomorrow’s highs to jump to continue to rise to average conditions for this time of year and we will warm a little beyond that early next week.
The next big chance for rain will come in the form of another closed off upper level low moving in from the Pacific Northwest. The earliest it could arrive will be Thursday but it could delay its arrival until next weekend. Confidence of its arrival day will be rising as we push into next week.
