Clear and Dry conditions will continue to effect the Western Slope this afternoon. High pressure will be moving into the area enabling more dry air to filter into the region. Due to the clear skies allowing for more cooling overnight, our morning lows for tonight will be slightly above average in the 50s in the valley. High temperatures will continue to increase to 10 – 15 degrees above average until the end of the weekend with some possible new records tomorrow and Sunday. Our morning lows will be closer to average temperatures but will gradually increase as well as we push into the weekend.
Next big chance for some rain and cooler afternoon conditions will be on Tuesday. A low pressure system will be making its way down with a cold front. This cold front will certainly make and impact on our temperatures, but confidence on rain outside of the divide is low. Confidence of where the rain will fall will increase as we move closer towards the weekend.
