A cold front will move across the Western Slope today. This front will bring us some much needed rain chances. We will be seeing a 70% chance for precipitation all day. During most of the daytime hours we will be seeing rain, but once we move into the night this rain will transition into snow. Snow showers will continue into Monday as we will see an unseasonably cold day. By Tuesday this system will have moved to our south and we can expect clear skies to follow. Final snow totals will be 1 – 4 inches for the valleys and 6 inches or more for the higher elevations. We will warm up to the 50s by late next week.
