Clear and dry conditions will continue to persist along the Western Slope into tonight. Tonight will be an excellent night to witness the Full Corn Moon, as there will be minimal cloud cover during the overnight hours. We will be at average/slightly above average temperatures tonight. Normal lows for this time of year are 57 for Grand Junction and 52 for Montrose. Thanks to high pressure settling in the region and the upper-level ridge intensifying, temperatures are expected to rise to above average tomorrow, and will continue to rise into the weekend. Dry conditions will continue to persist for the next few days as our rain chances will be near zero.
If the forecast holds up, our next break from the heat will come in the form of a low pressure system pushing a cold front into the area mid next week. This will also bring in substantial rain chances into the area.
