Sunny and clear skies with warm temperatures are on the way out as winter weather moves in for Friday. The valleys can expect a drop in temperatures by 15 degrees with up to 2" of snow accumulations through Saturday.
The same high-pressure ridge that's over the forecast area continues to bring in dry air and temperatures 5-15 degrees above season averages. This will change as another round of early winter weather is expected for the western slope starting Thursday night.
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Temperatures are increasing above average throughout the western United States with dry air bringing plenty of sunny skies.
